National Vaccination Programme

The Minister of Health also shared that on the 26th of October 2021, 3,242 individuals have received the COVID-19 vaccine. Under the National COVID-19 Vaccination Program, 350,200 individuals have received the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, or 81.4 per cent of the total population.

Meanwhile, 248,558 individuals have completed the second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, or 57.8 per cent of the total population. Among the elderly population aged 60 years and above, 42,008 individuals or 97 per cent have received the first dose of the vaccine, while 37,890 individuals or 87.5 per cent have completed two doses of the COVID-19 vaccine.

The Ministry of Health also informed that the Mobile COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic services will be conducted at Muara Health Centre on Friday, 29th of October 2021 from 9:00 in the morning until 12 noon and Sunday, 31st October 2021 from 9:00 in the morning until 2:30 in the afternoon, especially for residents of Mukim Serasa and its surroundings.

The local community who wish to get the COVID-19 vaccination can do so via walk-in by bringing along their identification card or passport as well as BruHIMS card if available. For those who are unable to attend on their own to the aforementioned health centre due to health problems or limited movement, they can register or be registered through the Village Head for vaccination arrangements at their respective homes.
