Bridging the Gap programme is hoped to raise public awareness in making contributions to those in need apart from educating those involved to be prepared in contributing towards community works. The programme in conjunction with the 37th National Day celebration was organized by Teachmeguru and Transformation Youth Community Club in collaboration with the Royal Brunei Armed Forces Reserves, Ministry of Health and Department of Community Development, JAPEM. The programme was launched yesterday morning with the delivery of donations to selected participants.
The contributions delivered were for five patients registered under the aid and welfare unit at the Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha Hospital, living at Perumahan Lambak Kanan, Kampung Perpindahan Mentiri; Kampong Bolkiah 'A', Kampong Setia 'A' and Kampong Masin respectively. The contributions in the form of daily necessities are hoped to lessen their burden. According to Awangku Abdul Azim Bin Pengiran Yusof, General Manager of Teachmeguru, the project will be extended to the month of Ramadhan.
