Rasulullah Salallahu 'Alaihi Wassalam is the best example that should be emulated by the youth, as the youth is the country's valuable asset, pillar and strength of the nation's future in making the Wawasan Brunei 2035 a success. Hence, youths must be given proper education and guidance until they become pious, knowledgeable and noble youths based on the teachings of Islam. These were among the contents of a youth talk held last night during the Doa Kesyukuran Ceremony in conjunction with the Youth Volunteers' 1st Anniversary. The function took place at the Ash-Shaliheen Mosque in Jalan Perdana Menteri.
In attendance were Yang Berhormat Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Haji Othman, Minister of Religious Affairs and Yang Berhormat Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Aminuddin Ihsan bin Pehin Orang Kaya Saiful Mulok Dato Seri Paduka Haji Abidin, Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports.
The function coincided with the launching of the 7th Edition of 'Warta Belia'. An exhibition was also held showcasing the Youth Volunteers one-year journey. The function among others aimed to express appreciation for the Youth Volunteers who act as frontliners while the country is facing COVID-19 pandemic and as an appreciation for the youths' contribution.
