Brunei Darussalam pilgrims joined about one million pilgrims from around the world to perform one of the pillars of Haj, Wukuf at Arafah. The Wukuf which began at Zohor time in Makkah is the culmination of the haj.

This year is the biggest haj season since the COVID-19 pandemic hit the world, two years ago.

In the meantime, the country's pilgrims have arrived in Arafah according to the schedule that has been set by the pilgrimage operator packages. Two buses carrying pilgrims of the Al-Hijrah Travel and Tours Package Sendirian Berhad and Straight Central Agencies reached Arafah at 11:30 at night and the rest at 6:23 this morning. Upon arrival, they were immediately taken to the tent that housed the pilgrims.
