Towards policy formulation and electing the new World Board Members of The World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts, WAGGGS as well as discussing and approving motions proposed by full members, the association last night organised the WAGGGS World Conference. The 37th conference was held virtually.
Heading Brunei Darussalam's delegation was, Dayang Hajah Siti Hafsah binti Haji Abdul Halim, Chief Commissioner of the Girl Guides Association of Brunei Darussalam. Among the proposals which received significant attention are increasing the number of young women under 30 years old in administration and policy-making levels as well as in skills development training. Among the main objectives of the conference is to formulate strategies for the future as well as formulate plans that are appropriate to the needs and priorities of the association's members. The Girl Guides Association of Brunei Darussalam is a full member of WAGGGS.
