Positive COVID-19 cases who use threats, can be fined under the Infectious Diseases Act. The Minister of Health stated the matter in response to a query on repercussions for failing to comply with directives while at isolation centres.
Meanwhile on visiting parents who live by themselves, the Minister of Health explained that such visits must be for short periods only and in well ventilated rooms to reduce the risk of infections. For parents who are staying with their other children, the public is advised against visiting them and instead, use other available methods for communication such as making video calls.
