Several areas in the Brunei Muara District are currently experiencing water supply disruption following the upgrade and repair works on the Bukit Barun Water Treatment Plant yesterday.
According to Public Works Department's media release, the scheduled disruption is to allow mechanical and electrical replacement works as well as repair on the said plant. The water supply disruption is expected to take 14 hours, and will cause reduction in the production of clean water. The Public Works Department will try to restore water supply as soon as possible, and the public can contact Talian Darussalam 123 for water tanker services.
