The number of road accident cases in Brunei Darussalam still requires the attention and cooperation of all parties involved, including road users. The findings are among those included in the Transport and Infocommunications Statistics Release, Ministry of Transport and Infocommunications.

Apart from the Road Safety statistics, the release also shared some other statistics namely Passenger Movement through Brunei International Airport; Passenger Movement via Serasa Terminal Ferry; Renewal of Driving Licence for Senior Citizens Aged 70 and above; and Handling of Registered Items, Small Packets and Packages for Domestic and International.

Based on the information obtained for Total Passenger Movements through the Brunei International Airport since the reopening of the border on 1st August 2022, the passenger movement trend showed an increase of 55 percent until 31st December 2022.
