The 61st Royal Brunei Armed Forces, RBAF's Anniversary Celebration, will be held on 31st May 2022 with the theme 'Bersama Menjayakan Wawasan Negara' or Together in Accomplishing the National Vision. The theme is inline with the duties and responsibilities of RBAF, as a Mutli-Functional national security and peace institution, which was proven during the COVID-19 crisis. RBAF will continue to focus on the Whole of Government approach as well as the Whole of Nation Approach in order to jointly contribute and ensure that the stability, peace and prosperity of the country will continue to be enjoyed and appreciated. Yesterday's Friday Sermon titled Together in Accomplishing the National Vision shared that RBAF will continue to be prepare in all aspects of defence, especially in enhancing defence diplomacy in facing the COVID-19 pandemic which has affected all aspects of life and forced us to adapt to new normal and remain relevant in line with the country's vision.

The Imam or Prayer Leader said that the Royal Brunei Armed Forces has a noble and challenging task whether it is the Land, Navy and Air Forces. They play their respective roles in safeguarding the security and borders of the country from intrusions and any elements that threaten the peace and sovereignty of the country. The task of the military to safeguard and defend the country is noble and it is not an easy task, but it has many risks and heavy responsibilities. Therefore, every personnel who carries out his duties with full of trust and dedication, is highly commended and appreciated. What is more important, the task that they undertake is very rewarding, if accompanied by sincere intentions for Allah SWT.
