Education is something that is emphasized in Islam and it is an obligation that every person must fulfill. The matter was among the content in the Dawn Talk during the "Masjidku Ma'mur, Negara Berkat" programme which was held at the Omar Ali Saifuddien mosque in the capital yesterday morning.
The talk titled "Pendidikan Berkualiti Teras Kecemerlangan Pelajar" was delivered by Muhammad Fatin Abdul Rahman bin Kifli; the Qualified Dai'e of the Brunei Islamic Religious Council. Among those present were Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Haji Awang Abdul Mokti bin Haji Mohd. Daud; Minister at the Prime Minister's Office; Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Abdul Aziz bin Orang Kaya Maharaja Lela Haji Yussof, Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Religious Affairs; Awang Haji Mohd Serudin bin Haji Timbang; Deputy Permanent Secretary for Policy and Religion at the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Awang Mohamed Jais bin Haji Abdul Rahman; Acting Director of Co-Curriculum Education Department, Ministry of Education. The programme was conducted by the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Ministry of Education with the support of Prime Minister's Office.
