Tadarus Ceremony Held By Various Ministries

The Ministry of Health continued the Tadarus Al-Quran Ceremony and the presentation of donations to orphans in conjunction with the Month of Ramadhan, yesterday morning. The ceremony was held at the Surau of Suri Seri Begawan Hospital, Kuala Belait. The Tadarus ceremony is one of the annual religious activities held in rotation in all districts to celebrate Ramadhan as well as to strengthen the relations between staff of the Ministry of Health and the respective hospitals.

Present was Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Doctor Haji Awang Mohammad Isham bin Haji Jaafar, Minister of Health. Meanwhile, 12 orphans from the staff of the Hospital received donations presented by the Minister of Health.

The Prime Minister's Office and its Departments yesterday afternoon continued the Tadarus Ceremony in conjunction with the month of Ramadhan. The ceremony took place at Kampung Limau Manis Mosque. The endowment contribution for the mosque was presented by Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Haji Awang Abdul Mokti bin Haji Mohd Daud, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office to Awang Rozaime bin Haji Bunal, Mosque Affairs Officer.

The delegation from the Ministry of Religious Affairs this afternoon continued the tadarus ceremony at Kampung Sungai Liang Mosque, Kuala Belait. The delegation was led by Awang Haji Mohammad Rosli bin Haji Ibrahim, Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Religious Affairs. The ceremony coincided with the presentation of Tithe Money Distribution to 50 Poor and Destitute Asnaf.
