The Ministry of Home Affairs and the departments under it as well as the Mukim and Village Consultative Councils held the Reading of Royal Mausoleum for the late parents and son of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Al-Marhumah Duli Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Damit and Al-Marhum His Royal Highness Prince Haji `Abdul `Azim. The function took place at Royal Mausoleum yesterday morning.

Present was Yang Berhormat Pehin Orang Kaya Seri Kerna Dato Seri Setia Doctor Haji Awang Abu Bakar bin Haji Apong, Minister of Home Affairs. Such a ceremony was an annual programme of Ministry of Home Affairs and the departments under it to further enliven and seek multiple deeds in the month of Ramadhan. Also present were Members of the Legislative Council.

The delegation of Ministry of Development and the departments under it also held a similar ceremony. The delegation was led by Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Ingenieur Awang Haji Suhaimi bin Haji Gafar, Minister of Development. Also present was Dato Seri Paduka Architect Awang Haji Marzuke bin Haji Mohsin, Deputy Minister of Development.

Meanwhile, such a ceremony was also held by the Serdang Mosque yesterday afternoon. The function was organised by the Mosque Takmir Activity Committee.
