Over 600 homes in a number of mukims in Brunei Muara District are receiving some 10 thousand food packs such as breakfast, lunch and dinner. The food packs are provided to the country's citizens and residents who are undergoing the quarantine order and self-isolation following the spread of COVID-19 at this time.

Royal Brunei Culinary, RBC was appointed to supply and deliver the food packs by the Ministry according to the food safety guidelines. The food packs will be delivered to several selected mukims including Mukim Berakas A and B as well as Mukim Mentiri. According to Dayang Siti Normah Binti Haji Talip - RBC Institutional Catering Manager, there are more than 100 workers involved in the food preparation and they are divided into two teams in line with the BCP currently implemented. They are also working in their specific zones such as cooking area, food packing and distribution of meals to certain areas for delivery.

Compared to previous years, the amount of food to be prepared has doubled. Some 15 vehicles are used to ensure the smooth-running of the food delivery. The quarantined food pack recipients are also urged to be patient as the number of deliveries have increased.
