Bank Islam Brunei Darussalam, BIBD celebrates its anniversary every 13th January. In conjunction with its 30th anniversary, a Sunat Hajat Prayer and Doa Kesyukuran Ceremony was held at Jame' 'Asr Hassanil Bokiah, 13th January afternoon. BIBD's 30th anniversary also marks three decades of contribution and progress to the Islamic Banking industry landscape in particular, and the country's economic development in general.

Present was Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Doctor Haji Awang Mohd Amin Liew bin Abdullah, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister of Finance and Economy who is also the Chairman of BIBD. The ceremony included the Sunat Hajat and mass Fardhu Asar prayers, followed by the recitation of Selawat Tafrijiyyah by BIBD ALAF students and ended with doa selamat. BIBD continues to serve the people of the country through its network of physical branches combined with a comprehensive network of digital banking and payment platforms.
