The Minister of Education also explained that Cambridge International has outlined an exemption for candidates who are sick on special consideration and withdrawal.

Special Consideration for candidates who are unable to attend one paper or examination component due to COVID-19 or Sick Leave accompanied by a letter of confirmation from the Doctor or Health Centre, will still obtain the grade assessed through the remaining components which have weightage in syllabus.

FOR Withdrawal of candidates who do not attend all papers or the examination components due to COVID-19 or Sick Leave accompanied by a doctor’s or Health Centre confirmation letter, Cambridge International allows candidates to withdraw for the subject and the registration fee will be returned. The deadline for applications to withdraw from sitting for the examination is seven days after the end of examination session on 17th June 2022.
