Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Ingenieur Awang Haji Suhaimi bin Haji Gafar, Minister of Development explained on the installation of solar panels at new housings and buildings for development projects under the 12th National Development Plan in response to the query raised about it.

The Ministry of Development supports the Building Integrated Photovoltaic, BIPV, projects in Bangar Town, Temburong as well as solar PV projects at reservoir areas. With the new net metering mechanism introduced by the Ministry of Energy, the BIPV application will be more attractive to the private sector.
