The Minister of Health also advised the public to ensure that their phone numbers are updated in their respective BruHIMS account.

The Ministry of Health is collaborating with Unified National Networks Company, UNN for sending SMS to individuals who have been confirmed positive and have a purple BruHealth code starting today, 15th February 2022.

The public is advised not to misuse the 991 Ambulance Line which is the Ambulance Emergency Service for non-emergency issues or take advantage of ambulance staff by asking them to perform ART tests for their family members when the Emergency Ambulance Service arrives to transfer COVID-19 positive cases to isolation centres.

This will disrupt the delivery of services and can cause delays especially where emergency assistance is more needed. Members of the public are asked to understand this situation and the cooperation of all parties in this matter is highly expected.

For the movement restrictions that was carried out from 12 midnight until 4 in the morning, 2 violations of the directive nationwide were issued with compound fines, where one was a violation of the directive to stay at home.
