Signing of MoU

​Universiti Teknologi Brunei, UTB students and academics together with students and scholars from 209 universities in the Republic of Turkiye will have access to more opportunities for development and exposure following a deal inked between UTB and the Yunus Emre Institute. The signing of a Memorandum of Understanding, which was part of the recent collaboration to offer a Turkish language course expected to commence in 2023, took place on 15th December at UTB.

 

The MoU on Cooperation in Higher Education was signed by Datin Paduka Professor Doctor Dayang Hajah Zohrah binti Haji Sulaiman, Vice Chancellor of UTB, and His Excellency Professor Doctor Hamit Ersoy, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Turkiye to the country on behalf of the Yunus Emre Institute. The signing aims to establish a partnership framework for long-term cooperation between the education institutions in both countries. The classes held at the Embassy and the Sultan Sharif Ali Islamic University, UNISSA will be the latest Turkish language course available for the public. The Yunus Emre Institute is also eyeing further cooperation on language courses with the Institute of Brunei Technical Education, IBTE.
