The Government of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam through the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports yesterday held the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding, MoU with the Government of the Kingdom of Cambodia on Youth Cooperation and MOU on Cultural and Fine Arts Cooperation. The Signing Ceremony was held virtually.
With the signing of the MoU on Youth Cooperation, it is hoped to further strengthen cooperation in the area of youth programme, as well as encourage exchange of views on matters related to skills, culture and sports; and to create a variety of activities that will further expand the youth and sports development programme.
Meanwhile, on the Cultural and Fine Arts Cooperation, both countries aim to further enhance cooperation in the areas of Visual and Performing Arts; Fine and Applied Arts; Exhibition Exchange; Museum, Archaeology and Heritage; Library and Archives; History and Literature; Cultural and Creative Industry.
Signing on behalf of The Government of His Majesty was Yang Berhormat Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Awang Haji Aminuddin Ihsan bin Pehin Orang Kaya Saiful Mulok Dato Seri Paduka Haji Abidin, Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports. Meanwhile, signing on behalf of The Government of Cambodia was Her Excellency Doctor Phoeurng Sackona, Minister of Culture and Fine Arts for the MOU on Cultural and Fine Arts Cooperation; and His Excellency Doctor Hang Chuon Naron, Minister of Education, Youth and Sport for the MOU on Youth Cooperation.
