Two advertising companies and two business companies were issued compound fines for offences under Order 12, Building Control Regulations 2016.

Win Sendirian Berhad Advertising Company was charged with two compounds, amounting to $500 and $1,000 respectively for displaying business signboards that were not in line with the approval given and not displaying the approval reference number and displaying billboards without permission. Mortar Advertising Company also charged with a compound of $100 for displaying advertisement without permission in the traffic light area of Jalan Utama Mentiri and Jalan Utama Salambigar. Meanwhile, Awinco Sendirian Berhad was fined $500 for displaying billboards without permission in the Penanjong Garisson, Tutong area. Azfah Sendirian Berhad was fined $500 for displaying business signboards without permission. All companies are required to settle the compound fines within 14 days.
