​The Petroleum Authority of Brunei Darussalam will always support Fuel Stations in improving the level of safety and carrying out continuous monitoring. The matter was emphasized by the Permanent Secretary for Energy at the Prime Minister’s Office at the Service Champion Day Ceremony held at the Tarindak D’seni, 21st September morning.

Awang Haji Azhar Bin Haji Yahya, interim managing director of the Petroleum Authority of Brunei Darussalam said, apart from scheduled monitoring to fuel stations in the country, Brunei Shell Marketing Company, BSM will also ensure that fuel stations have high safety standards to ensure the safety of the workers and the public.

The ceremony coincided by the presentation of the Retail Awards 2020 and 2021 and Long Service Certificates to service champions who have devoted their service and dedication for 20, 25, 30 and 35 years. This year, BSM also appointed 36 “Retail HSSE Ambassadors”.
