In conjunction with His Majesty's 76th Birthday Celebration, the Mosque Affairs Department through the Muslimah Affairs Division in collaboration with the Kampung Bang Dalam Mosque Takmir Committee, Tutong District yesterday morning held the Semarak Kasih Programme.

The programme included the mass reading of wirid which among others, aimed to supplicate to Allah Subhanahu Wata'ala so that His Majesty the Sultan would be blessed with prosperity and continues to rule Brunei Darussalam. Among those participating in the programme was Datin Hajah Nahriah binti Haji Asbi, Wife of the Minister of Religious Affairs.

During the programme, 17 recipients comprising those in need, the poor and destitute, new converts and single mothers living in Kampung Bang Dalam and surrounding areas received donations. The donations were from the officers and staff of the Mosque Affairs Department, Guidance Staff and Muslimah Guidance Class in Tutong District.
