Royal Brunei Air Force’s 55th Anniversary

The Royal Brunei Air Force continues to develop in line with the passage of time, by acquiring air defence systems and aviation equipment that enable it to continuously play its role and conduct trust effectively. The matter was among stated by the Commander of the Royal Brunei Air Force yesterday MORNING in conjunction with the Royal Brunei Air Force's 55th Anniversary. The ceremony took place at the Air Movement Centre, Rimba Air Base.

Brigadier General Udara Dato Seri Pahlawan Mohammad Sharif bin Dato Paduka Haji Ibrahim in his speech said that emphasis has always been given to the importance of training and courses, both locally and abroad. This is because, sophisticated systems and equipment cannot replace the most important part of an organisation, namely its personnel.

The ceremony ran concurrently with an inspection of the guard of honour led by Major Udara Pengiran Abdul Aziz bin Pengiran Dato Paduka Haji Abdul Wahab. In line with its role, the Royal Brunei Air Force also plays a role in helping the COVID-19 Task Force, in addressing and combatting the COVID-19 Outbreak.
