His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah ibni His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister's Office yesterday afternoon graced His Royal Highness' 49th Birthday Celebration hosted by the Prime Minister's Office. Also in attendance was His Royal Highness the Crown Prince's brother, His Royal Highness Prince 'Abdul Malik.
The ceremony took place at the Prime Minister's Office building. Upon arrival, His Royal Highness was greeted by Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Indera Setia Diraja Sahibul Karib Pengiran Anak Haji Idris bin Pengiran Maharaja Lela Pengiran Muda Abdul Kahar, Yang Di-Pertua Adat Istiadat Negara; Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office, and Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Doctor Awang Haji Mohd Amin Liew bin Abdullah, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister of Finance and Economy.
At the Pesambah Gallery, East Wing of the Prime Minister's Office, His Royal Highness cut the birthday cake and received a greeting card from the Prime Minister's Office as well as Pesambah from 12 agencies comprising government agencies, higher education institutions and the Brunei Darussalam Scouts Association. Also present, Yang Berhormat Pehin Orang Kaya Laila Setia Bakti Di-Raja Dato Laila Utama Haji Awang Isa bin Pehin Datu Perdana Manteri Dato Laila Utama Haji Awang Ibrahim, Special Advisor to His Majesty and Minister at the Prime Minister's Office; Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Paduka Haji Ahmad bin Pehin Orang Kaya Laila Setia Bakti Di-Raja Dato Laila Utama Haji Awang Isa, Attorney General; and Yang Berhormat Pehin Orang Kaya Paduka Seri Utama Dato Paduka Seri Setia Haji Awang Salim bin Haji Besar.
His Royal Highness then proceeded to the Banquet Hall for a Luncheon. The Surah Al- Fatihah and Doa Kesyukuran was read by Dato Seri Setia Doctor Awang Haji Mazanan bin Haji Yusof, Acting Deputy State Mufti.
In conjunction with His Royal Highness' birthday celebration, the Prime Minister's Office sought blessings from Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala for His Royal Highness and members of the Royal Family's good health, prosperity and well-being.
