​The Royal Embassy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Brunei Darussalam held its 92nd National Day Celebration of the Kingdom on 22nd September night. The event took place at the Royal Berkshire, Royal Brunei Polo and Riding Club, Jerudong.

Representing the Government of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam was Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof, Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office. Also present were His Excellency Emad bin Abdul Aziz bin Saad Al Muhanna, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Brunei Darussalam; and His Excellency Jassim Ali Abdullah Al-Obaidli, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Qatar to Brunei Darussalam. Diplomatic relations between Brunei Darussalam and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia were established on 1st of July 1987 and since then, the relationship between the two countries has strengthened and continued to develop.
