In the media conference, the Minister of Health also reminded the public to follow all the directives issued regarding measures to control the spread of COVID-19 in the country. All such control measures are aimed at stopping the spread of COVID-19.

Yang Berhormat the Minister of Health said visiting people either relatives or friends are not allowed. For elderly people living alone, only two family members are allowed to come and visit. Elderly people are not recommended to visit children or grandchildren as this will increase the risk of infection. Essential workers who are required to be on duty are advised to avoid eating and drinking in groups with other friends during break time. Stores that are allowed to open, including grocery stores, must control the number of customers who come into their stores. Visitors are also advised to wait outside the store if the store being visited is busy. Stores that do not implement control measures will be fined or brought to court under the Infectious Diseases Act Chapter 204.
