Public Cooperation Needed

In a question and answer session with the media, the Minister of Health also explained that over 70 new positive cases were detected since the implementation of mass swabbing last week.

Yang Berhormat added mass swabbing is currently conducted around Brunei Muara District and will move to other hotspot areas including Jalan Muara, Serusop, Delima and Rimba. In this regard, the Minister seeks the public cooperation especially foreign workers to together help and ease the swab process.

Meanwhile, the Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister of Economy and Finance said the forecast gross domestic product will increase from three per cent to three point five per cent. The retail business, according to Yang Berhormat, is expected to increase again, thus helping economic growth next year and expected growth to be higher than this year. Yang Berhormat said it is vital to support the economy as well as healthcare initiatives.
