Three Royal Brunei Police Officers were promoted by the consent of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam. It was held at the Officer's Mess Banquet Hall, Royal Brunei Police Force Headquarters Complex. The ceremony was officiated by Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Mohammad Irwan bin Haji Hambali, Commissioner of the Royal Brunei Police Force.

In attendance was Her Royal Highness Princess Hajah Amal Umi Kalthum Al-Islam binti Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien and Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Indera Setia Diraja Sahibul Karib Pengiran Anak Haji Idris bin Pengiran Maharaja Lela Pengiran Muda Abdul Kahar. Three Police Officers were promoted to Assistant Commissioner of Police including Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Anak Haji Mohammed Saifullah bin Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Indera Setia Diraja Sahibul Karib Pengiran Anak Haji Idris.
