The Ministry of Religious Affairs and Unified National Networks, UNN Sendirian Berhad signed a contract agreement to supply laptops and internet data for teaching staff and students at education institutions under the Ministry of Religious Affairs. Contracted for 3 years, the e-Education Solution Project was awarded to telecommunication infrastructure network owned by UNN with telecommunication networks namely Datastream Digital, DST Sendirian Berhad; Imagine Sendirian Berhad; and Progresif Sendirian Berhad.

The signing was witnessed by Yang Berhormat Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin Pengarah Dato Paduka Haji Awang Othman, Minister of Religious Affairs. Signing on behalf of the Ministry of Religious Affairs was Awang Haji Mohammad Rosli bin Haji Ibrahim, Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Religious Affairs, while signing on behalf of UNN was Awang Haji Khairuddin bin Haji Abdul Hamid, Permanent Secretary for Investment at the Ministry of Finance and Economy as the company's deputy chairman.
