The method of recording and reporting transactions of Zakat Fitrah collection receipts is among those explained at the presentation of tithe and property tithe collectors' credentials to appointed tithe collectors nationwide for 1443 to 1444 Hijrah. The ceremony was held at the Suri Seri Begawan Raja Pengiran Anak Damit Mosque in Kampung Manggis/Madang, yesterday morning.

The certificates were handed over by Pengiran Dato Seri Paduka Haji Bahrom bin Pengiran Haji Bahar, Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs. This year, 348 amils were appointed for 142 areas nationwide. Also present was Awang Haji Abdul Aziz bin Haji Akop, Secretary of Brunei Islamic Religious Council, MUIB.

The similar ceremony was also held at the Mohamed Bolkiah Mosque, Kampung Serusop. The certificates were presented by Yang Berhormat Pehin Orang Kaya Paduka Seri Utama Dato Paduka Seri Setia Haji Awang Salim bin Haji Besar, Chief Syar'ie Judge.

In Belait District, the ceremony was held at Muhammad Jamalul Alam Mosque and certificates were handed over by Doctor Haji Adanan bin Haji Basar, Ra'es of Seri Begawan Religious Teachers University College, KUPU SB.

In Tutong District, the ceremony was held at Hassanal Bolkiah Mosque and certificates were presented by Doctor Haji Norarfan bin Haji Zainal, Rector of Sultan Sharif Ali Islamic University, UNISSA.

While in Temburong District, the certificate presentation was held at the Utama Mohammad Salleh Mosque, Pekan Bangar. It was officiated by Awang Haji Mohd Serudin bin Haji Timbang, Deputy Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Religious Affairs.
