48 tablets were presented to the Ministry of Education to be distributed to students in need of devices to facilitate online learning since online schooling was put into effect earlier this month. The donation amounting to $36,906 was a collective contribution from members of the public and 13 corporate sponsors since July 2020. Yesterday morning, Dynamik Techologies and Progressif held a virtual handover for their donation drive campaign called "Goals for Education".
Earlier, Dr Shamsiah Zuraini Kanchanawati binti Haji Tajuddin, Permanent Secretary for Core Education at the Ministry of Education in her speech said that the Goals for Education Campaign has made it possible for students in need, to have technological access for virtual education, especially during these challenging times.
The Goals for Education donation drive is a collaboration between Dynamik Technologies and Progresif which was officially launched last year after schools were affected by closures due to the COVID-19 outbreak. The campaign is part of the companies' whole of nation approach which aims to support online learning initiatives and students in need of ICT devices nationwide.
