575 personnel of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces, RBAF, comprising in-service and retired personnel, received the Long Service and Good Conduct medals. The medals were awarded with the consent of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam.

At Bolkiah Garrison, the medals were presented by Major General Udara Dato Seri Pahlawan Haji Hamzah bin Haji Sahat, Commander of the RBAF. 42 RBAF officers received the Long Service and Good Conduct Medals.

Meanwhile, 84 personnel from the Ministry of Defence and the Defence Academy received the medals, presented by Brigadier General Dato Seri Pahlawan Haji Abdul Razak bin Haji Abd Kadir, Joint Force Commander. The medal presentation was also held simultaneously yesterday morning at the RBAF military camps.
