50 thousand N-95 face masks were received by the Ministry of Health, contributed by the Government of Japan as part of the efforts to tackle the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic in the country.

The contribution was received by Pengiran Doctor Haji Md Khalifah bin Pengiran Haji Ismail, Acting Deputy Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Health from Mr. Suda Atsushi, Deputy Chief of Mission at the Embassy of Japan. The contribution was under the Asia-Europe Foundation, ASEF stockpile project financed by the Government of Japan.
