The country's ability to conduct geonomic sequencing test in identifying to COVID-19 variants is another latest achievement realised through cooperation with the private sector. According to the Minister of Health the collaboration brought good results to the country's capacity in handling public health emergency specifically in conducting diagnostic tests during the COVID-19 Pandemic.

Sharing Resources Initiative, in particular Health Professionals has shown encouraging progress. The placement of Health Professionals seconded by private medical establishments namely Pantai Jerudong Specialist Centre, Jerudong Park Medical Centre, Gleneagles JPMC and Panaga Medical Centre at Government facilities have greatly helped the country in managing vital human resource to handle the COVID-19 Pandemic. The support and assistance of stakeholders in the recruitment of temporary workers to ensure the operational sustainability to manage the pandemic in the country is also highly appreciated. It is hoped the initiative will help them to be marketable through the experience and knowledge gained and that they will gain permanent job opportunities, thus reducing unemployment in the country.
