"Phrompong" asks "Wan Nor" to investigate "Gen. Prawit" for being absent from the parliament meeting - not voting on important resolutions by more than 80% or not, indicating an ethical violation, saying he is not worried about being sued by "Paiboon" over the clip issue, challenging the Palang Pracharath Party to set up a table to clearly explain, do not waste time suing to flirt, hoping "Uncle Pom" will enter the parliament to perform his duty of asking questions to the Prime Minister - proposing some motions. Mr. Phromphong Noppharit, former spokesman of the Pheu Thai Party, submitted a letter to the President of the House of Representatives, requesting an investigation into the performance of General Prawit Wongsuwan, a party-list MP of the Palang Pracharath Party, as the party leader, who has been absent from meetings and votes on important agendas for more than 80 percent, or at least 18 times. General Prawit has already been absent from votes 13 times, especially in the two prime ministerial election s. This is because the House of Representatives Code of Ethics states that MPs must devote time to meetings and must not be absent unless necessary, except when they are sick or have an emergency. In addition, Article 101 of the Constitution stipulates that an MP's membership ends when they are absent from one-quarter of the meeting days without permission from the President of the House of Representatives. Therefore, the President of the House of Representatives is requested to investigate General Prawit's performance after society raised doubts about General Prawit's political responsibility. Mr. Prompong also insisted that this complaint was not for political gain, but for the sake of investigation for the public interest. If he receives a complaint for other MPs, both from the government, the opposition, and Pheu Thai Party MPs, he is ready to investigate as well. The same goes for the complaint to investigate the leaked audio clip, which he did not record and does not know who recorded it because the pe rson who recorded the audio is likely a close person who betrayed him or a toxic subordinate. In the case of the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Interior who came out to admit the aforementioned audio, which was a conversation with General Prawit when he was Deputy Prime Minister, supervising the Ministry of Interior, he also believes that the content of the audio is illegal because it is an unusual request for money and budget, and there is a reference to the name of a real person. Therefore, the NACC, Anti-Money Laundering Office, and the Election Commission should investigate. Mr. Prompong also mentioned the case where Mr. Paiboon Nititawan, the secretary-general of the Palang Pracharath Party, is preparing to sue him for releasing the audio clip, saying that it is Mr. Paiboon's right and that he is not worried about it at all. It is also a test of the new party secretary's performance in creating the truth to show whether the clip is real or fake by having General Prawit, along with the party's ex ecutive committee, hold a press conference to clarify the audio clip to the media, clearly stating whether the clip is real or fake. Do not sue to cover up or sue to shut the media up. He also hopes that General Prawit will perform his duty in the parliament to ask questions of the prime minister or propose any motions. He will continue to follow this matter at all times. Source: Thai News Agency
