The Ministry of Health commends the significant and proactive involvement of the Ministry of Defence and Royal Brunei Armed Forces, RBAF for the contribution in administrative assistance, logistics and expertise as the country faces the COVID-19 Outbreak through a whole-of-government and whole-of-nation approaches. The matter was underscored during the Passing out Parade for the 168th intake of Male recruits at the Parade Ground of the RBAF Training Institute in Penanjong Garrison yesterday morning.
Awang Haji Maswadi bin Haji Mohsin, Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Health also expressed his confidence that the involvement also focused on the main task namely maintaining security, peace and sovereignty of the country through certain approaches. Three hundred male recruits completed their six months basic military training. Also present was Major General Dato Seri Pahlawan Haji Muhammad Haszaimi bin Bol Hassan, Commander of RBAF. Also held was presentation of awards to the recruits and instructors who had shown outstanding performance in different categories throughout the training.
