8 offences were issued with compound fines during the ‘Operasi Sepadu’ in Jalan Bukit Barun area, Kampung Lamunin in Tutong District, 13th September night. The operation involved officers and personnel from the Tutong Police District, the Royal Customs and Excise Department, RCED and the Narcotics Control Bureau.
The operation was led by Tutong Police District Traffic Officer, Assistant Superintendent of Police, Ivy Han. The offences include installing tinted film or curtain, threadless tyres and driving a vehicle that is not road worthy in terms of safety. During the operation, 2 local men were also arrested for possessing 2 packets of cigarettes and electronic cigarettes. Both suspects and contraband were handed over to RCED for investigation and further action.
