With the theme 'Contemporary Specialisation in Educational Practices Towards Education Excellence', the Second Education Specialists Seminar was held focusing on the sub-theme, Assessment and Research Development, reflects the critical aspect that the Ministry of Education is focused on the future, by building strong foundations.

Speaking at the Opening ceremony of the seminar, Yang Berhormat Datin Seri Paduka Doctor Hajah Romaizah binti Haji Md Salleh, Minister of Education also stressed that educators must seize the seminar to strengthen, accelerate and increase their capacity in the areas of research by highlighting the importance of data in improving assessment strategies. This includes preparing the Student Learning Survey, SLS to support teachers in gaunging students' knowledge and abilities. The event was held yesterday morning at Universiti Brunei Darussalam.

The two-day seminar aims to reinforce the role of research among educators and stakeholders to enhance the development of the education system. The seminar was conducted for the first time in a hybrid with the participation of about 4 hundred people virtually.
