On 1st January 2019, the Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) received a report on a newly-born baby girl. When found, the baby who weighs 680 grammes and without clothes was wrapped in towel and placed on top of a box at the Power Station of the Muara Tutong Highway.
Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Norainah binti Haji Md Salleh of the Crime Investigation Department said the newly-born baby was rushed to the Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha Hospital and was placed at the Baby Intensive Care Unit. However, after less than a month, the baby has died due to complications.
