4 sets of NBD 39 hashtags decorate the capital in conjunction with the 39th National Day celebration. The hashtags are located in front of the Royal Regalia Museum, Taman Mahkota Jubli Emas nearby the Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Mosque; behind the Brunei Energy Hub Dermaga Diraja, and Jalan Residency in front of Kampong Ayer.

15 people were involved in producing the hashtags. This year, the hashtags have their own designs and interpretations such as showcasing modern Malay Brunei art.
