The Minister of Health shared that on the 18th of October 2021, 5,022 individuals have received the COVID-19 vaccine injection.
This means that under the National Vaccination Programme for COVID-19, 344,342 individuals have received the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, 75.9 per cent of the total population. Meanwhile, 234,921 individuals have completed the second doses of the COVID-19 vaccine, 51.8 per cent of the total population.
Between the 10th to the 16th of October 2021, there are 6 mukims that have more than 80 positive cases. They are: Mukim Sengkurong with 321 cases; Mukim Berakas 'A' with 224 cases; Mukim Mentiri with 169 cases; Mukim Berakas 'B' with 122 cases; Mukim Kuala Belait with 175 cases; and Mukim Liang with 106 cases.
Meanwhile, outcome from the multi-agencies enforcement monitoring that was carried out last night during the out-of house restriction from 8 in the evening to 4 in the morning, 6 violations of the nationwide directive were issued with compound fines, where 3 of them are violations of the out-of house restriction.
