30 personnel of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces, RBAF contingent will be joining the Malaysian contingent 85010 or MALBATT 85010 peacekeeping mission to the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon, UNIFIL. The national flag handover ceremony to the contingent was held yesterday afternoon at Bolkiah Garrison.

The national flag was presented by Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Muhammad Haszaimi bin Bol Hassan, Commander of the RBAF to Major Hisham bin Haji Mahmud, Head of Brunei Darussalam’s contingent for MALBATT 85010. RBAF remains committed to contribute to the regional and international peace and stability, as part of its commitment towards global peace and security. Among those present, His Excellency Dato’ Raja Reza bin Raja Zaib Shah, High Commissioner of Malaysia to Brunei Darussalam.
