National Day Celebration Logo Description

The Brunei Darussalam's 39th National Day Celebration logo carries a motive of a collection of traditional designs and in the shape of an utap, a symbol of a mature nation's resilience, based on cultural heritage as the nation's identity.

The white colour unites the logo design symbolizes the purity of the Bruneians who prioritize the Malay language as the only tool of unity that is most effective. The green colour symbolizes Islam as a religion that guarantees the safety, well-being and interests of all citizens and residents. The yellow colour symbolizes the Royal institution that will remain as a national heritage that has existed for centuries.

The outer circle means Brunei Darussalam as an independent and sovereign country.

The four half leaves represent the four districts in Brunei Darussalam namely Brunei Muara, Tutong, Belait and Temburong.

The five green jewels symbolize the goals of Maqasid Al-Syariah that needs to be met in preserving Brunei Darussalam as an independent, sovereign and democratic Malay Islamic Monarchy country in accordance with the teachings of Islam according to Ahli Sunnah Wal-Jamaah.

The number seven written in roman and Arabic signifies the seven ethnics joining hands with the citizens and residents to support the development of the country and defend the values of the Bruneians.

Five petals of a yellow flower support the national crest, signifying that Malay Islamic Monarchy experiences five phases, namely Formation, Glory, Challenges and Resilience, Towards Strengthening. The logo was designed by Pengiran Muhammad Fakhrullah bin Pengiran Haji Hamdillah.
