Awang Muhammad Saiful Dafi bin Muhammad Suhaimi and Dayang Hajah Norainie binti Abdullah, emerged champions for the Murattal Al-Quran Category in Murattal Al-Quran Musabaqah and Memorisation of Al-Quran Verses with Understanding for New Converts nationwide. The ceremony took place yesterday morning at the Convention Hall of the Islamic Da'wah Centre.

Present was Yang Berhormat Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Haji Awang Othman, Minister of Religious Affairs. The champions brought home Challenge Trophy contributed by the Minister of Religious Affairs; One Thousand Dollars Cash; a $500 Tekad Haji Account contributed by Perbadanan Tabung Amanah Islam Brunei, TAIB and a certificate of appreciation. Meanwhile the Memorisation of Al-Quran Verses with Understanding Category was won by Awang Haji Muhammad Nabil Hakim bin Haji Muhammad Nabil Hafizzuddin and Dayang Siti Nur Syahirah binti Muhd Asnawi respectively. The champions brought home the Challenge Trophy contributed by Pengiran Dato Seri Paduka Haji Mohd Tashim bin Pengiran Haji Hassan, Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs; Cash; Tekad Haji Account contributed by TAIB and a certificate of appreciation.
