The Weights and Measures Unit, SDT, Industry and Business Ecosystem Division, Ministry of Finance and Economy, recently conducted the Mobile Testing Services on weighing and measuring equipment at 3 premises namely Pasar Gadong, Pasar Tani Selayun and Tamu Kianggeh.

As a result of the service, the SDT unit registered 56 units of measuring and weighing equipment. The vendors and users of measuring and weighing equipment are required to comply with the regulations for research of the Measuring and Measuring Equipment 1994, under section 3(2), which is, measuring and weighing equipment that are not stamped for commercial use is not valid.
