The ‘Menyusuri Sejarah Kitani’ Programme will be held for the first time as part of the Brunei December Festival 2022. A media conference was held yesterday morning at the Brunei History Centre. The programme is organised by the Brunei History Centre in collaboration with the Malay Islamic Monarchy Executive Committee Secretariat and Darussalam Motorcycle Association, PEMODA and the Brunei Museums Department.

Doctor Haji Muhammad Hadi bin Muhammad Melayong, Principal of Brunei History Centre in a media conference said the programme themed ‘Sejarah Kitani Kebanggaan Kitani’ or ‘Our History Our Pride’ will perpetuate the country’s history and heritage through briefings on historical places. The programme is one of the new approaches to disseminate information to the community on the value and importance of the country’s history. In addition it is aimed to encourage people in the country to practice a healthy lifestyle through activities involving the physical, mental and spiritual. Apart from that, it can also be used as a new attraction in disseminating the history and sultanate of Brunei in a more interesting and easier way to understand.
