Low Blood Stock Supply

The stocks of blood supply at the Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha Hospital Blood Donation Centre is at a low level. According to the Minister of Health, the public especially organizers of the blood donation campaign whether from Government Offices, Uniformed Forces, Non-Governmental Organizations, Private Sector as well as Institutions of Higher Learning are urged to jointly assist in increasing the stock of blood supply in the country.

In this regard, the Minister of Health added that blood donation campaign organizers are required to comply with the Ministry of Health's guidelines to tighten the control measures and curb COVID-19. Meanwhile, those who wish to donate blood at the Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha Hospital Blood Donation Centre are advised to book their slot using the BloodKad application. The Blood Donation Centre currently only accepts blood donors via appointment and booking through the BloodKad application.

The operating hours for blood donation at the Blood Bank of the Blood Donation Centre at Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha Hospital in Brunei Muara District and at Suri Seri Begawan Hospital, Belait District is every Monday to Thursday and Saturday, from 8 in the morning to 2 in the afternoon. At the Pengiran Isteri Hajjah Mariam Hospital Blood Bank, Temburong District is from Monday to Thursday and Saturday at 9 to 11:30 in the morning and 1:30 to 3:30 in the afternoon. Meanwhile at the Pengiran Muda Mahkota Pengiran Muda Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah Hospital Blood Bank, Tutong District is temporarily closed until a date to be announced later.
