If a person loves Rasulullah SAW, they will surely recite the Prophets name by reciting Selawat. The more a person recites the Selawat, the bigger the blessings one will earn, not only in the Hereafter but also in this world. Allah Subhanahu Wata'ala commands the ummah to recite the Selawat upon Rasulullah SAW to commemorate all of the Prophet's sacrifice in fighting for Islam, and the Prophet's excellent personality. This was highlighted in the Friday Sermon, titled 'Love Rasulullah SAW By Increasing Salawat.'

Among the main benefits of the practise of reciting Selawat are obtain Allah's blessings; one's sins are removed and their rank elevated; obtain Rasulullah's intercession on the Day of Judgement; avert losses and regrets; as well as being placed among the pious. When a person recites the Selawat 100 times, Allah will ease their heart. Their supplications will also be accepted by the Almighty.
