Launching Of the JPMC College of Health Sciences

Healthcare requires teamwork to achieve the best for the patients. Hence, without teamwork, the quality of the care given can be affected. In fact, it could lead to longer bed stays, mismanaged cases and eventually become an overall burden to the healthcare system. The matter was shared by the Minister of Health during the launching of the JPMC College of Health Sciences, JCHS, yesterday morning.

 

Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Doctor Awang Haji Mohammad Isham bin Haji Jaafar as Chairman of JCHS said, a team of health professionals require the individuals to have a certain level of dedication, competency and attitude where quality of care is at the center of it all. Yang Berhormat also emphasised that certain attributes are needed to handle the dynamics of the ever-changing health care.

 

Also present was Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Doctor Awang Haji Mohd Amin Liew bin Abdullah, Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Second Minister of Finance and Economy, as member of the JCHS Board. 54 students enrolled for the Foundation in Science Certification. JCHS is the first private health science college in Brunei Darussalam established by JPMC in collaboration with Far Eastern University, Manila. JCHS is offering a Foundation in Science Certification and Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
