It is feared that Usuluddin's knowledge tradition cannot be developed in society, especially the younger generation, if the improvements were not made by experts in the field itself. Usuluddin needs to be proactive, scholars who delve into this field need to use new methods to attract the Muslim community in line with the current context.
Awang Haji Mohammad Rosli bin Haji Ibrahim, Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Religious Affairs stated the matter while officiating the Multaqa Usuluddin themed 'Usuluddin Curriculum: Strengthening and Effectiveness', Multaqa Usuluddin. The two day programme is organized by the Faculty of Usuluddin, Seri Begawan Religious Teachers University College KUPU SB in collaboration with the Examination Department, Ministry of Education.
